Nick's primary passion in life is to be of service to God and people. Recovery is very near and dear to his heart because he is in recovery himself, and many of his family members suffer from addiction. Years ago, he experienced a profound paradigm shift that flipped his world upside down. His transformation of perception, he says, is a result of going through the recovery of the Self process that started by attending meetings here at the Alano Club of Kent County. One of the gifts that sobriety has brought him is that he fell in love with humanity. He realized that selflessness provoked peace. Along his journey, he has become fascinated with the brain, mind, and metaphysics. Nick is a full-time student of Psychology, pursuing a degree that will position him to help people who are suffering from the bondage of self. His enthusiasm towards recovery and ambition to make a difference is what fuels him to get out of bed. Thus, he is energized to serve as the Donor Director, help connect people to our mission, and ensure our doors always remain open.
